Child care is a crisis in this country. I have a plan to cap child care costs at 7% of any family’s income because New Jerseyans shouldn’t have to hand over our entire paychecks to make sure that our kids are safe and cared for.

Tom Kean Jr. is a poster child for the failed culture of Washington corruption. He's still trading stocks despite his promise to put all of his assets into a blind trust. l've divested all of my individual stocks because there should never be a question about who I am running to serve.

Decisions like these from Pete Hegseth aren’t just wrong; they make our fighting forces weaker. Hegseth is a disgrace to the office he holds, and he’s failing every member of our armed forces by failing to promote the best and brightest leaders in our military.

I like to think of my story as one of the American Dream. But right now, that dream feels out of reach for too many New Jerseyans. I’m running so my kids, and yours, have those same opportunities to succeed.

My leadership was honed in the military, where we were there as Americans to get the job done. That’s what you do — you figure out how to solve problems with the team and people you have. We desperately need that mindset in Washington.

In every exercise we did in the Navy, we prepared for the Iranian government to shut the Strait of Hormuz. There was no reason that Trump and Hegseth shouldn’t have been prepared.
