On our visit to family who live in the Normandy area we went to the #AmericanCemetery. #VeryMoving One of the many unknown soldiers who died in #France. He never went home & his family never knew what happened to him but, like so many others, he was a hero who #FoughtFascism&#Nazis. #ForeverGrateful

I have not read this book and therefore cannot recommend it or what it says, but I think the #title is instructive. The author seems to equate the #swastika with #WWIINaziGermany. Think about that IF this symbol is downgraded from hate symbol to “'potentially divisive' imagery"

I think people should watch Judgement at Nuremberg: The people in this regime should watch this very carefully..."just following orders" is no excuse.

When we talk about #D-Day it's often about #OmahaBeach where over 2,000 #Americans died, but what about the #Canadians who landed on #JunoBeach? It's estimated 381 were killed including 22 Canadian Royal Air Force pilots, 584 wounded, 131 captured. Also 243 Brits died there. Thank you, #Canada!
