Kingdom Hearts Fragmentary Passage: With Birth By Sleep holding my favorite "Trio" of characters and Aqua being my favorite character of the franchise, I can safely say that I like this game. Not love. It shows the strength of Aqua as a person as well as her weakness, but it's also a tech demo.

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance: It's Kingdom Hearts 1 with little critters, balloons and time travel. I don't know what else you want from me here. I am very attached to this game now. It made me actually invested in the story, which is more than I can say for Kingdom Hearts 2.

Kingdom Heart: Birth By Sleep : I present My favorite Kingdom Hearts game. It dethroned KH 1. I think this game is the only one that held my attention the whole time for this series.

Bubblegum Galaxy: It's a hexagonal based puzzle game with its own complexities, similar to settlers of Catan but I don't have to go to a friends house to play. The PS1 styled overworld with the very bubblegum pop vibes transferring to actual puzzle part is pretty great. 10/10 Puzzler no notes.

The Last Gas Station: You manage a gas station in the middle of nowhere and weird stuff happens. There's a lot of "search and find" storytelling in this which I'm mostly fine with but I think it'd be stronger with voice acting. For the price, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes management games.

Pokeduel: It's a Yu-Gi-Oh Fire Red Romhack and it's pretty awesome if you're a fan of both franchises. I'll fully admit I knew a lot less about Yu Gi Oh than I thought I did but that's because I fell off the franchise during GX. Here's my post main storyline Hall of Fame Team.

I'd love to have another Star Fox game like Star Fox: Assault. It wasn't perfect by any means but it had variety, challenge and a genuinely good antagonist. The character designs are also the most 2000s thing ever and the fits are perfect.

Pokémon Scorched Silver: A sequel to the Johto games set 20 years in the future. Despite my initial misgivings about the game due to the writing at the beginning and the difficulty spike(The developer put a Sylveon at the second gym) I ended up really enjoying it. Now will I do the post game? Maybe.

Exit 8: Spooky spot the difference game. Very short. Worth playing for the price. I want to see what they come up with for the film.

Journey To The Savage Planet: The big thing that kept me playing this was the exploration which was the point of the game. If it was only that I would've been happy. But, The humor kept screaming"DO YOU GET THE JOKE?!" The 3 Boss fights were annoying. Yet, still enjoyed my time overall.

There's a lot of anime I love that I left out, so consider this a rotating list. Kino's Journey (2003) is one I couldn't quite fit on here.

I had to actively restrain myself from not saying Beyond Good and Evil and Transistor for most of the entries. Then not repeating any titles.

Lacuna: A short sci-fi noir detective game. Pretty standard story. Has 8 endings. A very "your choices matter" sort of game. It is a little buggy on the PS4 which is annoying. Not enough to soft lock you out of achievements but still weird. Would recommend if you see it on sale like it is now.

Monster Hunter Stories: A creature collection game set in the Monster Hunter universe. I've been curious about this franchise for a long time, but it's a matter of gaining my interest and this certainly got my interest. I'll likely do a video on it this year.

Freya grabbed her stuffed platypus and hopped up on the couch to watch our shows. She's very invested.

A Morticians Tale: Been a fan of the games inspiration, Caitlin Doughty for a while now, just keep forgetting to play this short one through.

The Book Walker: Thief of Tales: I think I'm going to beat this one this year before I think of getting Esoteric EBB.

Shenmue I & II: I wanted to play these as a preteen but didn't have the console. Bought it later. Then promptly forgot about it.

Ori and the Blind Forest: I was told that this was like Seasons After Fall. I'm here for it and might play it through this year.

Bayonetta: The funny thing is I think I would like this game if I tried it. At least gameplay wise. But it's never been a priority game for me.

Immortal Defense: "I want to make a list of amazing Tower Defense games to show my passion for the genre." I say, never playing what's allegedly one of the best ones and leaving it to rot in my steam library for years.

Amanda The Adventurer 2: This is the sort of game I like playing with @waddlesmcgee.bsky.social but both of us have been preferring to play Pokémon rom hacks as our mutual playthroughs. It'd be weird to play the sequel if we weren't both focused on it.

Night In The Woods: @gameprof.bsky.social were supposed to collab over on his channel about it but our ADHDs high fived one another and forgot. 🤣 I still would love to do it though.
