It definitely is a shadowy place, or at least downtown where I live and work is because of the tall building. A lot of the architecture has gothic or art deco influence which makes it seem more like fall.

This is a message I sent to my Bandcamp followers, but I wanted you all to see it as well.

Thank you all for your patience with my recent flurry of releases. I should probably explain.

This project was born on the desert, but I want it to continue now that I moved back to my native New York State. I treasured my time on the Mojave, and it was vital to my development as an artist, but I feel like I needed to add a punctuation mark to the era. Making the 'best of' tracks from the archive available to you all helped me feel like I made a clean break. A new phase awaits.

So much of what I do will remain the same as the characteristic aspects of what I do predate my time on the desert, but I do expect some artistic changes. I hope you stay with me, and that you are open to music that glorifies and reflects the sweeping landscapes of Upstate New York.

I am so appreciative of the support you have given me over the last eight years. May you always receive similar blessings in your life. With eternal love, R

Newark Penn Station is my favorite transit center in the US (with Grand Central Terminal right behind). Absolutely gorgeous with architectural and artistic details everywhere. Still has benches you can relax on without dividers. Arrival/Departure sign that rattles when it changes. Just perfect.

The walls are limestone (I think...I am color blind) and there are relief medallions of significant developments in transit history. Classic, roomy but appropriately sized to not echo too much or feel vacant. It is my favorite transit center.

It's so pointlessly enormous....I love it.

Cleveland Bus Terminal again, same single ceiling light showing. This picture shows gates 3-8...I still haven't seen 1 and 2. Post deco 50s bowling alley architecture that probably looked better with its original wood benches throughout. Yeah I looked up its history...I'm waiting for a bus on Friday night in Cleveland and that's about the best use of my time.
