I like trains and think the world would be a better place with more of them in it. Modeller of railway-related subjects, both real and digital. Indie games are also really cool. Fangames are even cooler. He/Him
What Deltarune Weird Route players will see after completing Chapter 7B while the normal route folks get Chapter 0/Chapter 8:
The other outliers which didn't get bird names were mostly named for Britain's colonies at the time ("Union of South Africa", "Dominion of Canada", etc) or LNER company officials. One of the latter group was named for Sir Nigel Gresley himself. Another was named in honor of Dwight Eisenhower.
ones which were fast flyers. The naming scheme was established with the fifth engine, "Golden Eagle", the prior four having been the original batch from 1935 which all had "Silver" in their names, as they were built specifically to haul the newly-inaugurated Silver Jubilee service.
TITLE rather than being the link text in the email, so I thought the question was "What about next time?" instead of "Where will it take place next?" This led to me being confused and answering "If she never stopped smiling, what would make next time different from last?" Damn, Toby. That's cold.
So, I got my response from Toby for the Deltarune ARG. And.... I can't believe I fumbled it on the last step. I got "She never stopped smiling" as the response to the previous question. This most recent time, I didn't pay close enough attention to the fact that the new question was in the TAB (1/?)
seeing this and instantly hearing in my head that one penny snapcube moment where she sees one of berdly's talksprites and goes "oh. wait. waittt. his face. his contentment." etc
And on top of that, the way they "figured out trains" was usually by just building ferries for the trains, and then building tugboats with tall pilothouses so that they could see over the roofs of the train cars. Car floats in NY/NJ operated into the 1970s, when they were killed by containerization.
which also has the placeholder sprite of a black deer in the game's code that changing a single value called "toriel" causes to show up ingame ...which is bolstered by the fact that the White Cloak (AKA weird route Noelle) NPC has the same placeholder sprite but in brown as opposed to black
Not that I'm a hardcore proponent of this idea (though I do absolutely agree that it'd be cool) but weirdly enough if you look at the SWORD route there kinda is one scene that serves as grounds for it? That whole segment where you have to control a black enemy NPC that mirrors your movements
just. just gonna highlight this one comment. not even gonna post which strip it's from. just the comment. fuck.
the centipede cocks every single rifle at the same time and it's just a hail of shell casings like that helicopter minigun scene from the matrix
It's not as big as some of the other wins but every win counts, FUCK YEAH LETS GO GEORGIA PSC
I just want to call attention to how awesome this little logo design is. I love how the palm of the pawprint makes an upside-down heart like a monster soul!! It would've been really easy to just put the Delta Rune there, but you came up with a very evocative and unique graphic. Fantastic work!!
ah, oof, thanks for the heads up I did get a DM from them but here's as far as it got; that last message was what made me sus. Posting it here for the sake of informing others what to look out for.
"canon" Ceroba, Martlet, and Dalv were probably the furthest possible things from being on my UT anniversary stream bingo card #undertale #undertaleyellow #uty
losing my mind at "michelin man chef". you mean this guy???? what's he gonna cook for me, burnt rubber?
In addition to my love for Undertale, without it, a lot of other things I really love wouldn't exist. So, I tried to do one of them Justice...
