Just wrapped on my latest #CoronationStreet shoot. Loved it! My job just keeps getting better and better. Been a tv director for about 14 yrs now and, whilst every day is always going to be a school day, I think I can say I have finally found my stride. Viva creativity! 🙌
Funny thing when you go back to a place you used to work at after many years of absence… you never know how you might be received. I can tell you that the love and respect I get whenever I turn up at the #CoronationStreet studios is second to nowhere. Eternally grateful. 🙌 x

I’ve just had my head down for 10 days designing camera plans for 64 scenes that will make up my next block of Corrie. A hard slog, but it’s where the creativity takes seed. What I decide in my head now becomes what you see on your screen months down the line. Such a fascinating process.
My boy asked if he could go see his Grandpa on Father’s Day. The three of us had a nice little chat… mostly about Huddersfield Town. Here’s to dads and granddads no longer with us! 🙌 xx
Seven years ago today my best mate passed away. I know he’d have stayed around for me if he could… but it was his time to go. He’d no choice in the matter. I miss him more & more every day… but there’s nothing I can do but accept that’s how it goes. Hope you’re smiling, dad. x
