At the Devil's Tower campground, they show Close Encounters of the Third Kind in front of the thing every night. Still the single best moviegoing experience of my life.
The fifth season of #ForAllMankind is the first one with a finale that does not feature an action set piece in space with spaceships. This is the best summary of this season imo. It's still a fun show, often great, it definitely came around in the 2nd half, but yeah. A downgrade.
Oh, how could I have doubted you?! For All Mankind, my beloved! When those brass horns on the "Landing" track start coming in, you know it's on. What a magnificent show this is when it all comes together! Relieved they still got some gas left in the tank. If they keep this momentum, we are so back.
That RULED! OMG THANK GOD, FINALLY! And yet: NO idea what they're doing with Dev this season. Toby Kebbell remains miscast AND bad in the role, completely missing the moment. And it's super unfortunate that the vfx budget is lower than ever when we get this far out and the show delivers its promise.

Obsessed with the Apple Newton / iPhone they have on #ForAllMankind. Looks like a mix between the original iPod and an iPhone 4 (which falls in line with the show here in 2012). Absolutely bricked the fucked up, love it!
