12. I love old game magazine ads, something about the weird attitudes, styles, abrasiveness really just speaks to me, so I made a bunch of my own for Trading Card Inspector! You can find these in-game... somewhere..... 🙈

11. We made an amazing animated intro to the game that runs IN-ENGINE!!! So every time you open the game, the animation will play in whatever colour palette you've chosen and the funny memo that is displayed half-way through is randomly chosen (a bit like the Simpson's couch gag)!

10. Throughout the story you'll pick up threads and mysteries to investigate... 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒔 to uncover. Pay attention and think outside of the box and you'll be handsomely rewarded... 🙊

9. There's 20 funny, weird gameplay modifiers that turn the game upside-down, but I still think my favourite one is The Bees! They're pretty simple, they just fly around and get in your way, but they're cute so I can't be mad! Normally there's 1-3, but here I multiplied them by 1000 just to see...🐝

8. One of the best parts about making this game was writing hundreds of stupid jokes for the memos and card descriptions, the game is littered with silly punchlines. Here's a few fave memos:

7. I knew that we needed a mascot character, like Pikachu for Pokemon cards, so I thought of a cute lil' adventurer guy, cute but a bit generic... Plarbo! I thought it'd be very funny to have multiple different version of him, almost all of which would be in negative situations... Sorry Plarbo!

6. We have an absolutely insane soundtrack, it really is killer, also made by @glittermagus.bsky.social . It's an eclectic mix of genres and styles, but they all work together so well. My favourite track... well... its a spoiler I'm afraid...🙊 Oh yeah, I also made this album cover for it too!

5. Almost all of the cards were drawn by the wickedly talented @shin.itch.io, who took my stupid ideas and made incredible designs, literally spinning straw into gold. A handful of cards were drawn by our cool guest artists: @chickenjesus.bsky.social @varlotto.bsky.social @battra.bsky.social
