Flying Witch Vol. 14 ❤️ There was so much going on in this volume: New creatures, a magical Indiana Jones-like job, a visit to a different realm with a magical sumo contest to decide in which country the witch festival takes place&a magical encounter in an enchanted forest. This was so much fun!

Natsume's Book of Friends Vol. 30 ❤️ That cliffhanger should be illegal 😭 It's suspicious we never saw the painting of the girl Natsume thought looks similar to Reiko only for Matoba to mention his sister's portrait. Could it be the same painting? Could Reiko be connected with the Matoba?

Tales of Reincarnation in Maydare Vol. 10 ❤️ Lots of action! Lapis' backstory was revealed and some new evil characters got introduced who faught her &Makia. I just love that the worldbuilding keeps expanding and there's still so much we don't know. I'm already super excited for the next volume <:

I also wish I would have hold on to some of my dolls, especially my favorite Barbie dolls. I did keep some of my old plushies and animal figures. And this little buddy is chilling on my sofa 😁 I've had it since I was three years old <:

The art in the oneshot manga/artbook/fashion magazine hybrid Hyakkaten Waltz is stunning! I bet it was so much fun to come up with all of the fashion pieces (the clothing in particular) and the manga short stories in between made me feel like I was there and actually visiting the store.

Who Saw The Peacock Dance in the Jungle volume 6 🩷 I liked it and I'm eager to know how the story ends. I'm sad there's only one volume left though and I feel like it's another short series where I wish it would have been longer.

Maybe a hottake but:

Tbh I don't need the side characters to be super developed when I'm watching/reading something in the romance genre, because most of the time neither the side nor the main characters get the attention they deserve and it's so much worse for the latter who is supposed to be the focal point of the story.
Writers should rather invest in the main characters/couple instead of giving the side characters/couples too much room if they only get a limited page/episode count.

Some of my manga favorites 😊

A few of my favorite manga:

-Fall in Love You False Angels volume 5.
I don't read many highschool/college romance manga anymore because I'm easily bored when it doesn't have some sort of magical element 😅 but this one took me by surprise. I love the dynamic between the FL and ML, the humor and the art is pretty too ❤ The FL comes across as very sure of herself, some might even say a bit narcissistic, but I read 5 volumes now and to me it feels like she's more of a people pleaser bc life is easier that way. There are only a few people she feels comfortable enough to show her true self. I would still love her if it turns out she's really just a narcissist 😂
-Victoria of Many Faces. It's a heartfelt and fun Slice of Life story with romance and some minor action here and there and the found family trope, the little girl is so precious! Jeff (the ML) and Victoria (FL) make me so giddy and I love them 😍 An anime adaptation was announced for July.
- Natsume's Book of Friends. It's a Supernatural/Slice of Life with zero ..

Supernatural/Slice of Life with zero romance but amazing character growth and heartwarming stories. It also handles childhood trauma (neglect) pretty well and has the found family trope. The anime (7seasons!) is amazing too 😊
- Colette decides to die. It's not about what the title would suggest but actually a sweet romance with occasional melancholic/sad moments. It often feels like a warm hug and I LOVE Hades & Colette as a couple ♥And it has elements from greek mythology.
- When I Became A Commoner, They Broke Off Our Engagement. A character-driven Slice of Life story that blends fantastical elements with social commentary. The Romance in this series is more like a sub-plot and barely there, which is not something you would guess based on the title of the manga) so it's more focused on personal growth and Anna, which has quickly become a favorite of mine, settling into her new life and find her passion.
-Flying Witch. A healing manga about a witch in training in a small town, similar to Kiki's Delivery Service but it gets more ..

-Flying Witch. A healing manga about a witch in training in a small town, similar to Kiki's Delivery Service but it gets more magical as the "story" progresses, like the charactes visit the witches headquarters, work magical tasks to earn money, meet other witches and their professions and find our their element to find out which magic to learn best and so much more. It's very creative, very calm and relaxing. It doesn't have much story, so it's more about the daily life and witchy shenanigans.
-The Prince's Keeper. A witchy mystery romance story with lovable characters and cute/funny cat scenes.

Oh und bezüglich dieser "dunkle Seite" die die beiden haben aus dem Klappentext. Das sind einfach ganz normale Charakterzüge, die man halt normalerweise eher für sich behält, vor allem wenn man nicht als "schwierig" gelten will, nur weil man seine Meinung sagt.
Hat was von People Pleasing. Man möchte es einfach allen recht machen und ohne Schwierigkeiten seinen Alltag bestreiten.
In der Geschichte sieht man jeden Charakter mit einer "dunklen Seite", bei manchen ist es nur weniger offensichtlich (nur durch die Mimik erkennbar)

Fall in Love You False Angels Vol. 5 💗 I loved it! Toki not confessing his feelings for Otogi is stressing me out tho😅 Otogi's grandma is the cutest & I like that we get to see more of Benio in this volume. I'm also eager to know more about Gen and his visit to the graveyard. I need Vol.6 ASAP!

If I would post my opinion of all the adaptations I watched in r/janeausten I'd probably get downvoted to hell, which is why I'm posting it here 😅 I'm really looking forward to the new adaptations of Sense and Sensibility & Pride and Prejudice bc IMO one can never have too many Austen Adaptations.

I ordered this Masterpiece Library Edition of Persuasion (Jane Austen) a while ago as a birthday gift to myself and it arrived today on my birthday! 😍 It's one of my favorite books, so I always wanted a special edition of it. I was hoping to find an illustrated one but I've had no luck so far..

A Masterpiece Library Edition of Persuasion written by Jane Austen.

It's a hardcover book Deluxe crafted with reinforced cloth quarter-binding for durability.
It's a deep blue, has textured embossing and iridescent golden highlights.
Some shapes are four red roses in each corner and lots of golden leaves.

When I Became a Commoner They Broke Off Our Engagement Vol. 6 ❤️ Reading this manga is so much fun and Anna has quickly became one of my favorite protagonists! The story is entering its final arc and I saw the 8th volume was already put up for pre-order in Japan. I hope we get about 10 volumes🤞🏻

Colette (Colette decides to die) ❤️ She's strong-willed and has so much empathy for others and I like how she's her own person. She has her own goals and her personal journey is as big of a plot as her romance with Hades. She gets the best of both world. I'm really bad at explaining sorry😅
