All ICE detainees in No. Nevada are collected at the Washoe Co. jail in Reno, and every Friday they're shipped out to Mesa, AZ by ICE's charter flights. We go to to Stellar Aviation at the Reno airport every Friday to witness these shackled prisoners being loaded onto planes.

The Stellar Aviation facility at Reno Tahoe In't Airport is not only where ICE loads shackled deportees onto ICE Air flights every week. It's also where many private jets land and disembark or board passengers -- sometimes at the same time. #RenoNV #TheirTripStartsHere
Prisoners being directed to mount the steps to the plane. Because we are forced to observe from afar, the image doesn't capture the shackles they wear. If a flight depressurizes at altitude, shackled passengers are not able to reach air masks. Several such events have occurred on other flights.
