THIS is what we all need to do. The optics of rolling over or beating people who are sitting, silently, will crush them - it will drive millions from passive observers to active resistance. But we all need to be on board.

Let's flood Congress and the Senate with this to show that we won't allow them to destroy the separation of powers by sneaking this into the budget bill. This petition on Resistbot takes aim at Sec. 70302 of the bill, which strips courts' ability to enforce contempt charges against gov. officials

The fight isn't over yet. If you are a "blue dot in a red state", NOW is when your voice really matters. Call or email your GOP Senators NOW and tell them what cuts to Medicaid and SNAP will do to people in their state - VOTERS in their state.

This would be a huge step - Congress has oversight of deportation under the Constitution, and should have the right to inspect those facilities.
