Digging this Hands To this morning. I need more of his stuff, never could find it back in the day but see some on Bandcamp. Also backed with that @kanshiketsu.bsky.social guy. 😉
Hmm... I wonder which record this is supposed to be with. ? 🤔🙄
Every now and then I find a photo from my iPhone and wonder if I also shot it on film or my "real" digital camera. This one is from 11 years ago on my iPhone 6s, using Hipstamatic. It definitely makes a perfectly good 8" x 8" print tho.
The high tunnel mid-July... curing onions, waiting on tomatoes, Swiss chard is hanging in there, fall greens planted under the insect netting, basil doing well, and Tulsi (holy basil) filling in. All the spring salad greens were removed weeks ago.
Ok, this is a bit much... SE Wisconsin. I don't think we have fires in Wisconsin, this is coming from Canada and northern Minnesota.
Things seen while walking with camera the other morning before the heat set in.
Half plate tintype, Arches National Park, 2012. Made with my 8x10 handmade sliding box camera. I miss the whole wet plate thing, but it is a lot of work to take it in the field and be careful with the chemicals in nature.
"Back in the old days" when I was an employee and client at commercial photo labs, Pallas gave you your negatives and contact sheets back in envelopes like this. (No mini lab stuff here.) I hear most people these days don't even want their film back, just scans. Weird!
@ihcilon.bsky.social here's those Do'a cassettes I mentioned. (I guess that was on Instagram 😂) it's not bad music. I was expecting much worse. 😉
Digging through old cassettes of radio shows, mostly from WMSE in the late eighties or early nineties. So far this has The Residents, Legendary Pink Dots (I think it's LPD), then maybe Karl Blake or Lemon Kittens? Interesting mix so far
Decades ago I learned that Vincent Price had some cookbooks back in the '60's so of course I had to get them. He was apparently quite the cook and food connoisseur.
"Let's see what a bunch of weird pedals sound like together." 😵💫 Where is that voice sound coming from? My guitar loop?! Nutty!
I have a dozen of these 6 minute cassettes I bought in the 90's to use for sound samples, and thought I'd use them as "singles" for my music. Turns out one side only has one channel of audio while the other is two channels of stereo. Oh well!
I usually use a 24mm, 35mm or 50mm for my urban scenes, but used 100mm on my Canon F-1 on this roll of film. I need to do that more often.
Definitely did not get Seven Hours Sleep. Let's see if this helps.
Funny to think I've had this ink cup thing (is that what it's called?) since at least the 1980's. Maybe earlier even. It was design to clip on your Masonite drawing board.
