I tried to refrain from posting this, but I'm sorry @wxpnfm.bsky.social, I’m too much of year nerd. That Aimee Mann Badfinger cover was released in 1993, not 1996. I’m holding that 1993 cd here. #XPNTBT
17: number of people I saw wearing Knicks jerseys on my walk beside the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Prospect Park this a.m. 1: number of people wearing a Charles Oakley jersey who doubled over laughing at my 12 year old internet deep cut shirt.

If you happen to be one of those people who enjoy when I create a very long playlist with a specific theme, I would suggest subscribing to my playlist email: open.substack.com/pub/figgsrock2 Tomorrow’s 8 hour journey was inspired by listening to a track from this album on my iPod the other day:

This photo of a very beat up hoodie is to let you know that two weeks from tonight I’ll be returning to New Year’s Eve DJing at Hinterlands in the Kensington section of Brooklyn. All request night starts at 9pm!
I’ve got a busy end of 2024 and start of 2025 on the DJ front here in Brooklyn. Links to the Bowie and Britney events in this thread!
Got my family Christmas shopping done today as my order of @anniezaleski.bsky.social’s new book came in. (And I can post a photo here because the person I got it for doesn’t have a BlueSky account.)
Got angry about someone at work not doing something they said they were going to do. And guess who came to my stress rescue?
