Low-fat King Ranch Chicken. I even managed to put in a bit of shredded zucchini. Delicious😋

Have made 2 batches of chokecherry syrup. It is pretty thin, but, should thicken up a bit when I heat it up for pancake syrup😋

Picked about 4 1/2 cups of chokecherries this morning Will be making syrup out of juice tomorrow. Yummy

I still need to put that medium blue border around most of these blocks. There is enough blue fabric to make another quilt

Started harvesting some zucchini. Tomato plants have some green tomatoes on them.

Here is just one of the quilt blocks that I've made with my craft group. So far have sewn 9 blocks. We are using blocks from Judy Hopkins quilting books.

Whew, the scary severe thunderstorm is finishing up. The sky turned very dark, pouring 🌧️, lots of thunder & some hail🥺. Least it cooled down to 69 degrees. The heat advisory may be cancelled now

Fun afternoon at my craft group. Used black marker to trace around heart & star templates. Drew lines over & around them. Then used markers to color. Pretty fun time & socializing. Have really missed doing this.

With all the rain we've had over the past several weeks, everything is so lush and green

We've been seeing less bunnies lately. Over a month ago on our afternoon walk on our back trail, saw flash of a gray wolf running into the woods off the trail.

1.3 inches of rain since last night. Our skies about an hour ago. More dark clouds & thunder have rolled in. Hope other areas of the country get some rain soon also🕯️📿🙏🤗💖

Lovely Friday afternoon. Been working on weeding the flower beds this week. Finally got the iris bed looking pretty good. Another chance of rain tonight. Another 1/2 inch the other day

The clouds were gorgeous coming back from town. Seems as soon as we got home it started raining& then the sky opened up. Had a little bit of hail also, not much & it really cooled off after a high of 91F today, now 64F. Over 1 inch of rain

Ore Strawberry Rhubarb jam made yesterday. This time from Kerr canning book. Recipe is long boil method (no pectin) & has less sugar than than the other one. Really good too

Yesterday morning made 5 1/2 pints of Strawberry Rhubarb Jam. Used an online recipe from Frosty Recipes using pectin, Turned out delicious😋
