@rhem
he/they. Deep in my writing feels. I like actual play podcasts, video games, and wishing I were writing. Check out As the Devil Drives, available from ebook platforms near you (and also on Storygraph)
Okay I guess I'm a believer in feng shui now because what do you MEAN I got the hot springs ticket on my very first run with her.

Shocking no one, I think a big part of my fondness for Wilson as a Don't Starve survivor is because he's such a good chew toy. "Underwhelming incredibly normal guy has to survive in impossible odds surrounded by people objectively cooler than him" has become SUCH a weakness of mine.
Full disclosure, I did install a "no permadeath unless you want to die" mod in Don't Starve, BUT. I did still beat my previous record by getting halfway through winter before I had to use it because of this fucking thing.
First three were foundational components of my childhood with themes that reoccur in my writing to this day. Breath of the Wild remains the only Zelda game I've ever completed. I quote Disco Elysium obnoxiously often. And the others just manage to pull me back time and time again.
So a necromancer turned up with a bunch of zombies, and as near as I can tell, once we chopped through enough of the zombies, the necromancer then resurrected them as intelligent undead who were no longer hostile to us. They've been hanging out in my entryway. Wondering if I should run makeown.
I couldn't necessarily explain my love of ball jointed dolls, but there is something grounding and soothing in the process (and it is a process) of getting them dressed up properly and fussing every stray hair into place. Y'shtola's been wearing a nightgown for months but she is back on her feet!
Lunar: Dragon Song isn't a good game but it's one of the easiest examples for me to reach for of "the construction of the DS influenced how cutscenes for DS games were made and how very jank they can look outside the DS"
Baked some scones before hitting the theater for the last showing! Heck of a busy Sunday!
Unreasonably excited to have met THE Dominoix Lilitaire LIVE AND IN PERSON today 🥰 (Dominoix of course belongs to @teenysanguinis.bsky.social )
He didn't make all of it but his name's still associated with it enough for Night in the Woods to count for this, imo.
It is kind of Wild how the art just becomes familiar and normal after playing the game long enough where I look at this and I'm just like "that is my Friend : )"
Between pulling Dober after two pulls and a crop fairy the night after the Egg Festival that hit half my strawberries, I ended 2025 with an ABSURD run of luck.
I know a picture from Lodestone isn't the most exciting but here's Lucid! Their main jobs are probably Machinist and Warrior. Definitely more of a going-alone type survivor instead of killer. They're a little Lalafell with an extremely big personality and a willingness to come out swinging.
Symboli Rudolf kind of gives off strong trans masc vibes. I cannot explain why and so will not be explaining further.
Thanks for keeping us company through a long, exhausting year @linkara.bsky.social .
Ironheart here giving me strong Triage flashbacks. I forgot that worker ant women were the size of lions so when she wound up on the wrong side of a tantruming one, she was left fucking quadriplegic for a while. Genuinely, a couple of inches to the right and she'd have died.
In all my entirely-too-many hours of #DwarfFortress, necromancers are something I've never managed to take full advantage of. Cross another one off the bucket list, the reanimation chamber worked exactly as advertised! The fact that it only works during the full moon adds to the charm.
#DwarfFortress So I was under the impression that werebeasts were a bit more immune to traps than this. This one just walked smack into a cage trap while beelining for my expedition leader. What do I do with her, is the question. What does one do with potentially the world's first weresloth.
I'm terrible at using photo mode in this game but this screenshot of Agnes Digital chasing after three summer Maruzenskys is both a.) Very funny to me personally and 2.) An accurate encapsulation of my overall Virgo cup experience.
I decided "fuck it, I'm tired of bowing to the meta and planning ahead" and did some gacha pulls to reward myself for powering through the Long Dark Night of Essay Writing and The game clearly agreed! Great to see after my last 5 3* pulls were Rice Shower or Silence Suzuka!
Abolish all local plane flights in favor of building more trains! Airplanes should be for crossing! Oceans! ONLY!
God Agnes Tachyon's character design really does scratch my brain so good. Its like the visual equivalent of ASMR.
Rationally I know that this is not behavior I should encourage But on the other hand, please consider - she's baby.
Went to visit a nature trail yesterday! A friend told me about trails where chickadees are so used to humans that they'll take birdseed out of your hand.
