Way back in the early days of the UK's Channel 4 (1988 I believe), it screened a 1977 film called The Experiencer (Brian Helweg-Larsen, Michael Kohler). Wonderfully surreal and totally wordless. However, it seems to have disappeared entirely. No DVD... nothing. Shame - it was well worth a watch!
I once grew some Dryad's Saddle. It would seem that bizarre forms are not unusual... The taste is unremarkable, but there's a distinct whiff of watermelon about it.

Pay Keysell used to furnish every episode of Vision On with sign language for deaf viewers. I don't know if anything similar happens today, but I hope that a generation of kids grew up less inclined to think of deaf people as "other".
Elizabeth Maconchy, composer of some of my favourite music. At first hearing I didn't care for her string quartets - but something drew me back to them again. And again. And each time, I found something new in them. They continue to reward attention.

I can never decide whether this or Rubens' interpretation of the myth is the more disturbing. Goya captures the madness and conflict within Saturn, but Rubens depicts him as a seemingly unemotional monster. 🤔
