Unapologetic Beatles, Queen, Dolly Parton, Taylor Swift & Bad Bunny fan; leisure rancher with a hat and micro herd of longhorn cattle; donkey lover; university business professor; I study social media.
Just so y’all don’t think I tend longhorns and donkeys full time, here I am with fantastic coauthors winning an award from our professional society, the Academy of Management. #AOM #AcademyofManagement
Drones eye view of Prince Charming. The triple digit heat doesn’t seem to phase him. His two amigos are hiding out in the shade.
When not pontificating about fabricated narratives on social media, you can find me mowing the fire breaks back at the ranch.
Where else can you marvel at The Last Supper one day, and be part of a panel on Social Media, Polarization, and AI the next? #Milan
Teaching doctoral students and their kids to feed the donkeys. Bad Bunny is more than happy to assist.
We finally got some rain in the last couple of weeks at the ranch and the flowers are trying to sneak in before the relentless TX sun bakes everything.
Paul, my donkey named after Sir Paul McCartney, and I couldn’t be more happy that Macca is Colbert’s last guest. #theBestles #Wings #LetItBe
Jack wishes you a happy national pet day. He also hopes you will adopt your next pet from a shelter. This shelter pup has stolen our hearts.
My great niece thinks I am the donkey whisperer because she really wanted to feed our donkeys. No one else could get them to let her get close enough. I sized up the donkey’s POV: she seemed like a threat because they don’t know many kids. On the tailgate, she’s just another adult w/ treats.
I need a break from rehashing SOTU lies and icky Trump/Epstein file revelations about the extent of pedophiles and sex trafficking among the male elites. Maybe you do, too. Sunrise at the ranch.
Paul was happy to see me after the storm ended. He brings me so much happiness.
When you take the dog for a walk at the ranch, sometimes you get an entourage.
Blue jays at pond’s edge. A Texas drought has the water level extremely low.
I am wearing one (of many) pairs of Beatles socks today because my students and I need a reason to smile.
