Escaped England for more biking in Netherlands. Scientist, supports Ukraine, occasionally uploads film photos (all photos my own). I block all crypto/"traders"/OF accounts that try to follow me.
Most beaches don't have the same level of poo from the visitors as a penguin colony
Next set of scans. slight overcast during some of the visible light filters so the IR is relatively brighter. I've been meaning to #trichrome this one for a while as I thought that the algal bloom would look cool.
Scans are decent, although I overexposed some of the IR shots by 1-2 stops - I should learn to trust my lightmeter more when metering through the filters. The nice thing about 6x6 is 12 frames per roll which works out as 3 trichromes with both RGB and IR. #trichrome
I finally gave into my wish for a 6x6 with a 80mm f2.8 and got a Mamiya c220. Today was the test roll and dev. It's pictures, no obvious light leaks, looks like the shutter is running reasonably accurately. Rollei 400s EI 200, rodinal 1:25 6mins.
In the greater scheme of things a small triumph, but a triumph nonetheless.
Continued my #stereophoto experiments on the sinar. These taken at a distance of about 10m to the centre of the frame, 210mm G-claron at f32, front tilt, 6cm lateral movement, retropan 320 @ 320, rodinal 1+25. #largeformat #believeinfilm
Rare digital photo. We had thunderstorms earlier this evening, they gave a spectacular combination of lighting from the sunset behind me and a rainbow.
Mechanically it still works, I just need to get into the viewfinder and lens to clean the residue from the detergent. I even managed to salvage (using the term salvage loosely) about 20 frames from the roll of provia that was in it a the time.
In today's episode of large format stupidity: taking a couple of test shots on some on harman direct positive I found in a moving box. focused, metered 1.5 seconds, decided one exposure at 1s and one at 2s, made the 1st, forgot to flip the film holder over, made the 2nd, at least the metering was ok
Pen FT. Even though my one took an unscheduled trip through the washing machine a month ago. I believe that's described on eBay as "Very clean example, slight haze in optics, Exc++++"
Final one from my backlog, a roll of #ilford #sfx200 which I was experimenting with IR exposure times with. No trichromes this time but some nice wood effect. Development was uneven because the roll was left a while and had some edge lightleaks. This one on the Fuji GW670. #believeinfilm
A few more from the recent E6 batch. again #provia100f #RDPIII #expiredfilm #believeinfilm
As I did a whole batch of E6 dev, I have a few other photos although some were suffering from loss of FD activity. These were taken at Beekse Burgen ealier this spring. #provia100f #RDPIII #believeinfilm #expiredfilm
Finally got started on developing E6 at home. Not sure I'm a big fan of the adox 3 bath kit, I think I'll go back to bellini for my next batch. Some testing of very old #ektachrome readyloads on my speedgraphic (Aeroektar 1/250 f11). #believeinfilm #expiredfilm #speedgraphic
Hence why you can buy anatomical models of ducks for opening wine bottles...
It arrived, thank-you. It was tested with as silly a combination as possible because what's missing from the original PenFT system is a 300mm f2.8.
Decided to try some silly camera/lens combinations for taking moon photos this evening. Up first: Pentax 67, 2x converter, 400mm f4 Second: PenFT, penFT to EF adapter, EF to adaptall, 2x converter, Tamron 300mm f2.8.
Spa Rood. It's extra fizzy so it feels like soda in the mouth.
Blue Gouda, purchased in an Amsterdam tourist trap and given to me by my cousin during a visit a few years ago.
And now for some more #FP4party photos, this time only two #trichrome because I shot the closeup cherry blossom handheld and there was too much movement between camera movement and breeze to line up the three exposures nicely.
#fp4party we have pictures. Will scan tomorrow when they're dry.
Finally finished my previous roll and loaded for the #fp4party
Can't remember who, but someone here showed about making stereo pairs using the lateral movements on a sinar monorail. Yesterday I had a go 2m, 6cm separation. shot on: #foma #retropan320 dev'd: #rodinal 1:25 8 minutes, used: #monorail #210mm #4x5 #largeformat
Emerging from my winter hibernation to post some photos of the snow we had in NL in January. shot on: #foma #retropan320 dev'd: #rodinal 1:25 8 minutes, used: #speedgraphic #aeroektar #4x5 #largeformat
