*That was supposed to say "Got him a kiddie pool..." Gosh, didn't mean to sound like I was being prescriptive! Puppy tax: Bjorn at 4 months, Kaiju at 4 months. Both of their moms were white, or mostly white, with fairly short hair.

My 16yo dog has some bladder control issues and needs to wear diapers in the house. They kept falling off, so I got some little suspenders for her. Now she looks like Zardoz, lol!

Anyone know what that straight line of sparkling things are? They were moving fast, but not as fast as a shooting star.

Every picture I see of Patel reminds me of this meme/photo from The Office. How does he always seem to look so awkward and out of place?

They are entertaining to have, but really are not great pets! Like a mischievous monkey-dog with the obedience of a cat. I ended up having one of my kids be able to climb trees in a similar way. The raccoon was good training to deal with such unexpected events! (Notice no low branches on the tree?)

It wasn't even mentioned in the reviewer notes! It seems like a significant anomaly to at least mention. I can't find much in the literature that matches it, and *I* had to find it in my own MRI. (The granulation is at least 11mm.)

I'm really thinking interstitial fluid pressure is relevant to MECFS, especially when investigating my likely Giant Arachnoid Granulation.

Guess what I got for Christmas? A migraine! (It's small so far, so I think I can manage it. Plus it's affected by position, so maybe enough caffeine can also help raise the CSF levels to mitigate it.) At least the view is pretty.

As a white liberal, I can definitely say white liberals often don't "get it." It's enraging! I do what I can to convince them, work with some local groups, and try to put my money where my mouth is, and not ignore the bad things that do exist. They (we) remind me of this meme:

Even the villain women characters are fully nuanced and and and ... sympathetic! The books had the villain woman as fairly flat characters. Even Liandrin is sympathetic. And then this one...🤌

The Paradox of Tolerance disappears if you look at tolerance not as a moral standard but as a social contract. If someone does not abide by the terms of the contract, then they are not covered by it.

In other words: The intolerant are not following the rules of the social contract of mutual tolerance.

Since they have broken the terms of the contract, they are no longer covered by the contract, and their intolerance should NOT be tolerated.
