I’m so pleased. It’s taken me about five years to get to a solution I am happy with.
Here’s the output from the new scaler. The difference is night and day.
Why do I need a new scaler? Well here’s an image from the old one. The colours were messed up and no matter what I did, I could never get them close to the original colour. Either too much blue, green or red and no matter how much I changed the values, the output just wasn’t right.
Thanks to a suggestion about the power supply, I have a signal on my new scaler!!
It’s my new (to me) VGA scaler. I bought it based on @mac84.bsky.social’s VGA capture video as I’ve been on a five year mission to get an image I’m happy with!!
One of the items will be delivered today and NOT Friday as expected! Woohoo!
I don’t bloody believe it. But I got ICQ connected to Oscar too. I don’t really know how to find someone to message yet but I’m getting there!!!
I’ve only gone and got my Jornada 560 connected to my AIM server via the ICQ client AND I can message backwards and forwards. This is SUCH FUN!
I got my own AIM server up and running! Got it working on my TiBook AND my Windows 95 Starion 917 PC. THIS. IS. AWESOME!
This happened today and I couldn't be any more thrilled! Viewing figures and followers have slowed recently but it's still on an upward trajectory!
Don’t mind me, I’m just copying some software over from my FTP server.
£425 later and the bike is back on the road. It’s a shame that I’m going to sell it because…well…just look at it!!
I've been playing with the MacBook Neo and I'm impressed at the frame rate for Minecraft - I'm getting between 50 to 80fps.
I caved and got the AC unit out of our camper van. This morning has been far too warm.

The rubber on top also isn’t in great shape. I have better examples of this machine.
Lots of corrosion inside too. I can’t see where it’s come from though. I have three more of these machines. This one is going to ewaste unfortunately.
