I beat Subnautica: Below Zero which gameplay wise was very similar to the original, but has very different level layouts and story, or actually two distinct stories. I very much enjoyed it, but I preferred the crushing isolation and loneliness of the original for the Robinson Crusoe experience.
I finally beat Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice episode 3: The Rite of Turnabout, saving Maya who was accused of murder. I found the Divination Séances extremely tough to solve. Ruthless. Great to see Maya again, still an impish Steel Samurai fangirl even now she's all grown up

I delayed watching Weapons (2025) as I assumed it would not be good, but I could not have been more wrong. What a deliciously dark and twisted tale this is ! Also quite funny 9/10 The Naruto Running is probably intentionally hilarious as well
Aliens Dark Descent is an excellent game that perfectly captures the Aliens franchise atmosphere, visuals and sounds. However, it is brutally hard and unforgiving, as well as extremely tense, so I can only play it in the weekend. beep...beep....BEEP....BEEP....BEEPBEEPBEEP "We've got incoming !"

Trucy's criminal mastermind seemed to finally be uncovered as she was accused of murder in episode 2: The Magical Turnabout of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice, but Apollo and Athena managed to get her exonerated. Relatively easy case, sometimes bewildering.

I very much enjoyed Mary Hollingsworth’s book The Medici about the rise and fall of this house in the center of medieval superpower politics. The scheming, the ruthlessness, the corruption, and the eventual collapse into decadence was an epic journey and a glorious tour de force.
It has been a great ride playing Xenonauts 2, a remake of one of the best games of all time: X-COM: UFO Defense (UFO: Enemy Unknown). It was a blast, but maybe too easy on Soldier difficulty for a veteran like me

Sending my soldiers to fight the aliens with starter weapons in Xenonauts 2 as all my resources go to winning the air war. The casualty rate makes me feel like a monster 🥲 Smoke and Flashbang grenades combined with shield and Stun Batons is the key to victory. Beat the enemy into submission.
