Author, Injustice Town, available now. John Grisham calls it "outrageous and unbelievable." The New Yorker calls it "comprehensive and sobering." I call it: Sad reality.
Of course it’s always been just about politics not race. (The new rule: don’t say it out loud and it’s all okay. No matter whose rights get trampled)
@frozen-cranberry.bsky.social Just hoping you know about (and might spread the word?) that I'll be at Seminary Coop next Saturday at 3, in conversation with Steve Garnett. Hoping for a crowd of people who care about justice!

How much more will it take before the "courageous" members of the GOP actually do something besides standing by idly as Trump destroys democracy and American standing in the world? Sure, ordering networks to kowtow is nothing. How about troops in MN? How about economic war with Europe?
I fear this photo (taken by Treasury employees, posted by the Washington Post) represents the state of our country as much as anything.
I do not understand how anyone believes this administration's claim that its "deep concern over anti-semitism" is behind its attack on many of this country's best colleges.
One year ago today, Det. Roger Golubski was to face a jury of his peers. Two months from now, Injustice Town will tell that whole story.
Pete Hegseth threatening to court martial Mark Kelly is the most outrageous thing I've read today.
