When MCTS Operator Therman C. saw an individual using a mobility device get stuck in a pothole while crossing the street, he didn't hesitate. After notifying Dispatch, Therman safely helped the person out of the pothole so they could continue to their destination. #MCTSExcellence

Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley shared an update on the progress being made at MCTS. Fare evasion is down, new buses are arriving & a system redesign is underway that will shape transit service for years to come. We are focused on improving service today while planning for the future.

On Route 30, MCTS Operator Stacy H. met a young passenger who said he was running away from home. Stacy contacted Dispatch & stayed with him, offering calm reassurance in a difficult moment. Her care helped ensure he was safely guided back home. Thanks, Stacy! #MCTSExcellence

Q: Why is my bus late? 🤔🚌 A: Traffic, construction, weather & more can cause delays and create a ripple effect along the route. Good news: buses are on time 80%+ of the time. Running late? Check the Umo app for real-time arrivals so you know exactly when to head out.
Severe weather might create unexpected detours and delays for MCTS bus services through the morning of Saturday, April 18. We are actively monitoring conditions with the safety of MCTS riders and operators as our top priority. (1/2)
A minor boarded the bus with a printed address, a few bags, and no way to call for help. MCTS Operator Leroy C. noticed something was wrong. He trusted his instincts, checked on the situation & ensured the girl was reunited with her family. #MCTSExcellence
