I just got out of the hospital and a 10 days day at a skilled nursing facility. The bulk of the cost were recovered by Medicare advantage. I was surprised by the impact of the Medicare cutbacks on the quality of food provided at the nursing facility. Breakfast anyone!
Trump is continuing along his path towards autocracy! It's almost as if he was following Hitler's playbook threatening neighboring countries. Does he really think he can conquer Cuba, Greenland perhaps even Canada and nobody will step up and say enough! He is insane!
Just rewatched Rob Reiner"s movie "The American President". 30 years later: We still can't ban assault weapons, We are going backwards on environmental actions to control climate change, The GOP still claims they alone have family values / character and vilifies the ACLU. 30 G*D* Years!
I think of the ACLU in terms of fighting for our Constitution. Perhaps as Guardians of the Constitution. I'm a member and I cannot think of a more vigorous organization fighting for the preservation of our Constitutional Rights!
