[Anakin Padme meme] So the networks aren't going to show it then, right?
The "investigations" into 2020 will not stop. The attempts to restrict voting rights will not stop. Those are now core elements of the Republican party. Part of beating this back will require recognizing this basic reality: this is who they are now, and it will not change.
Trump has turned his fixation into a propaganda technique used by authoritarians around the world in recent decades. Whether Trump believes the lie is no longer relevant. The lie has taken on a role in the function of government.
The young candidates - many of whom will soon become young legislators - understand that "generational change" is more attractive because of what it represents, not necessarily the age of the elected official. It's an insight missing from the challenge at the top of the ticket.
Young candidates without opponents are campaigning as though their races were contested. And all of the young candidates are minimizing their age, focusing instead on policies.
If the Court does rule against Trump on this tomorrow, many will fall into the trap - don't let them. This was probably the most partisan, extreme year in Supreme Court history. If they happen to get one easy case partly right on their way out for the Summer, that changes nothing.
And don't forget - it was the birthright citizenship case that SCOTUS used to get rid of nationwide injunctions. Even if (when? I hope?) Trump loses, he still got a hefty consolation prize.
This was not a hard case. The Court could have spent its time on any of the 7,000+ other cases that sought its attention. Instead, it treated this as though it was one of the hardest, most consequential cases of the year.
One thing North Shore (Salem) Pride does better than any other Pride event in MA: dogs. So many dogs. Some of them wearing sunglasses.
This is maddening. A moderate backed by dark money, crypto, and AIPAC just won this overcrowded field in MD-05 with less than 1/3 of the vote. Everyone deserves the chance to run their race. But, to truly advance the cause, you also have to know when to bow out and support someone else.
There is no such thing as "earning" a trillion dollars. That amount of money can only be achieved through policy failures.
Schumer is already broadcasting that he plans to take credit for any Democratic gains in November. The *only* way to blunt that is by unseating incumbents. And @senadorajulie.bsky.social is by far the best chance we have to do that this cycle. Support her!!
As always with Pride events, the best part was the energy and the atmosphere. The celebration of acceptance. There is a joy and a sense of relief in being at an event devoted to affirmative solidarity, and you could feel that positivity everywhere you went.
A great day volunteering at Boston Pride. Brought lunch to volunteers, ran into some friends, and let's all agree to pretend that the video below would show a successful ring toss if it didn't cut off too soon.
Every single time in my life I heard the phrase "be a man", it meant "be brave" or "do the right thing". It never once meant "try to bully someone from behind a keyboard" or "name a wide receiver".
I published this article in the hours after the unconstitutional attack on Venezuela. Congress' neglectful reactions after Iran ('25), Venezuela, and Iran ('26) invited more lawless attacks. So now he's telegraphing that he's about to attack Cuba, too. www.welcometohellworld.com/the-logical-...
We beat Moulton in a straw poll yesterday. Over and over again, when people give this campaign a chance, they find they like it's message. That was true again at yesterday's Methuen DCC breakfast, where I came in 2nd in the straw poll.

They only write articles like this when they're worried someone on the left might win
How many of those people who think they'd lose a fight to DJT were among the 12% of men who (wrongly) said they thought they could win a point against Serena Williams?
It is absolutely outrageous for the @democrats.org to send this email in the middle of a contested primary. @kenmartin.bsky.social you should apologize and publicly retract immediately.
Great news & bad news coming from the most recent UNH poll: The overwhelming majority of voters still don't know who I am BUT Half of the ones who have heard of me, are planning on voting for me. That's a great sign. It means we have the right message, we just need to keep getting it out there.
Since I get asked about it often, this is why I haven't asked for a TrackAIPAC endorsement. I don't accept money from AIPAC. Campaign finance reform is 1 of my 3 core priorities. I am not disparaging those who have sought TrackAIPAC's endorsement. But I have never sought it out.
Had the pleasure of speaking with Walter Rhein & Anthony Christian today about my campaign, abolishing ICE, accountability, policy choices, Democrats' path forward, and much more. @walterrhein.bsky.social & @antwestcoast.bsky.social Full conversation: alexrikleen.substack.com/publish/post...
"It's a jail"- @repmcgovern.bsky.social He spent about 80 minutes inspecting, and then about 20 answering questions with us outside.
