Went on a hike & saw a plant I'd never seen before... Its sincerely called a Phantom Orchid cuz it grows in the dark & doesn't have chlorophyll. I'm now wondering if I should go back & see what super powers I get by eating them. Just kidding, sounds like they're kinda rare & need to be protected!

There isn't a single fenced in official "dog park" anywhere in town, either... but you don't need it when the dogs can come everywhere. Plus the unofficial dog park is the giant sandbar that juts out in to the middle of the Columbia. Don't need fences when there's water on 3 sides
Watching my wife's first road roller derby bout in Salem & not only is she kickin ass & takin names, but the DJ has us rockin out to a heavy metal band covering all the star wars music & I am in fuckin heaven
"Gave up on the play"? She's getting boxed out & doubled, which is probably alot of what made it possible for her teammate to cut straight to the ball & get the opportunity at all We can celebrate Barker without needing to hurl made up criticisms too, ya know?
3rd & final (for now); don't remember how we met, but moving out of Portland proper I was having real FOMO about this whole culture. Meeting @sheriffofportland.bsky.social led to another best friend, plus Third Bench was born, & this community is the coolest crew I could ever imagine. Love y'all! ♥️🖤
