We had this tiny frog visit last year, which I am sharing in the hopes that the algorithm will also deliver more Frogsky to me.

The best explanation of this I ever saw was a webcomic 14 years ago from Shortpacked:

Webcomic (from Shortpacked) where a comics book dude says, "I'm tired of you griping that CHICKS in comic books are sexually objectified! The DUDES are too! They're impossibly muscled hulks!"

The woman replies, "Being a big impossibly-muscled hulk is a male power fantasy. It has jack to do with what a female such as myself finds attractive."

She picks up a sketchpad and continues, "Let me show you what I mean. If I'm gonna get the hots for Batman he has to be built for DEXTERITY, not power. Let's make him more lean... seeing his eyes is important, they should be large and intense. Let's throw in some rosy cheeks and kissable lips."

She then displays her female-gaze batman, a slenderish big-eyed pouty-lipped Batman who looks ready for kisses and cuddles more than combat.

Comic books dude says, "Th-that art makes me feel uncomfortable."
Woman replies, "Welcome to the background radiation of my life."

a) there's no "out-prosing" here; I'm all about the "two cakes" perspective (see image) b) I wrote last week's (rhyming) column before RFK's latest spate of awful announcements so it doesn't mention him by name but you might appreciate it anyway: www.berkshireeagle.com/opinion/colu...

A two panel comic, the first showing a sad artist placing their cake next to a larger fancier cake and commenting with disappointment, "aw man, that guy's cake is way better than mine". The second panel shows an eager and appreciative fork-wielding audience saying, "Holy shit! Two cakes!", clearly enthusiastic and delighted to have twice as much deliciousness to consume.
