Breakfast with the crows 🥰 It’s that time of year where it’s warm enough outside for us to stumble from bed and go right to the garden. The air smells like a flower shop and the neighborhood is quiet…except for crows 🐦⬛💕
This one got into the burrs today, thankful I have a brush that pulls these right off her. She’s just the sweetest 💕. She’s going to see her actual birth mom for the first time in almost 2 years this week! I’ll keep you posted on what happens
This is my first morning home after 6 days of travel and I was worried the crows might not come when I whistled. It did take a little longer than usual but there is a family of crows hollering and eating peanuts again. Such smart little friends!
This little nugget filled with love turned 5 this past weekend. She’s smart, salty, a great jumper and ever-attentive to her humans. We went to a special Sniffspot to celebrate and then she got doggy ice cream afterwards. We are so thankful for every day we can spend with her! 🥰🌻
Quite the FLX day, start to finish. 6 am rim trail hike with the dogs at a local state park bookended by my favorite local fundraiser (Taste of the Finger Lakes) in Ithaca with friends. We watched a thunderstorm in the distance on the drive home, 85 degrees fireflies erupting the whole way
Fall Creek Brass Band, second time outdoor so far this season. Live, outdoor music with a buncha queer friends I can love on fills me with the happy feels 🥰🎷🎺🥰
I was skeptical that 2 days of doggy daycare would be fun for them when I was no longer WFH but knew I only had bandwidth to take them into work 1 day/week. Turns out hanging with their friends all day is THE BEST 🌈💜 Rescue Pitbull and Australian Shepherd both full of joy. Love!
I’ve had a wild crow friend for almost 2 full years now, I feed their whole family and one other congress of crows in my village. I couldn’t miss an “official” cawcus 🤣🐦⬛❄️
