The @richmondkickers.bsky.social was a painfully hot humid no scoring game. Sarasota was knocking on the door for most of the half but our defense stood strong. It was also old home week with 5 or 6 former Kickers on the staff or on the field. Not unhappy with the 0-0 draw.
Three Notch'd here in RVA isn't my favorite, their beer just doesn't do it for me, I don't think they're bad. This promotion is however very good, if the USMNT score goals. They should have put in a caveat about PKs after full time not counting.
The @richmondkickers.bsky.social have cancelled the USMNT viewing party that was scheduled for tonight. They didn't want to roll the weather dice. Everyone will now scramble for a viewing spot. I would tell you where I'm going but I want to get a seat.
The Kickers have played 200 USL1 games. Their record (if I mathed right) is 65-83-52 w-l-d.

6 years ago I took photos of the traitor monuments coming down. Today something a little more somber occurred. They brought down the elephant at the Putt Putt Fun Center on Midlothian. The Fun Center (around for 50+ years) is being leveled to make room for a storage facility. More at RVAHub Insta.
The miracle turnaround I was hoping for the @richmondkickers.bsky.social didn't happen. 2-0 loss and we rarely threatened. Hoping that we see something positive soon. Have some photos.

I really want to like the new Kickers jersey but again they just play it a little too conservative for my taste. Lean into the possum theme. Give me a MASSIVE hissing possum not a small patch on the bottom. Also $100 for a USL1 jersey is getting a little old.
Was not expecting this today. The fact that he already has a gig lined up means that this was in the works for a while. Personal theory no evidence.
