#deltarunespoilers deltarune chapter 5 spoilers, deltarune spoilers, look out, beware my spoiler-y notes app screenshots. anyway i have not beaten the chapter yet, but i made it to the secret boss, which i also have not beaten yet lol. workin on it. so. my other thoughts so far. look out. get scared

-ok so follow up to my “criticism”: in my playthrough, I never thought to equip a ribbon to Susie because I was too upset about it LOL, but a friend told me that apparently, if you do equip a ribbon, she immediately hates it and changes her mind about it anyway (?), so never mind. my one main problem no longer exists, I’m cured LOL yayyyy!!

-I wasn’t completely sold on the idea before, but what I’ve played of the chapter so far has totally opened my eyes. yup. yup. I understand now, the world has opened up before me. trans Ralsei. trans girl Ralsei. the vision is clear to me. it’s true and real I can see it. also damn Ralsei really was Literally born in the closet from the very beginning LOL, OOGHHGH.

-this really is the chapter of callbacks/references to undertale and also to chapter 1 and I think that’s awesome. yay!!!

-truthfully I kind of hated the part where Susie was like “you know what, actually I’ll wear ribbons now, sure :) looks fun :)” it bummed me out so much for the next few minutes of the game LMAO. and like, yeah, I get that Susie’s getting more comfortable with expressing herself or whatever, and that’s great and all, but I just. man. for a beautiful four chapters I was so happy that Susie seemed to be a masculine tomboy character that didn’t like fem clothes at all and wasn’t “secretly girly” for some reason. I grew up being uncomfortable wearing “gendered” clothing, so seeing Susie, I was like “YES FINALLY she is everything I ever wanted as a kid and also as me right now, my awesome gender non conforming rep YES THEY GET IT THEY UNDERSTAND AHAHAHA!!!!” but now I guess. i guess she’s gonna wear fem clothes after all. ok. whatever lmao. guess it’s fine. big sigh. big frown. cries inside a little bit. no this doesn’t hurt me personally haha what?

the chapter I NEED* to replay is chapter 2. last time I replayed, I didn’t trigger some minor specific dialogue that impacts nothing. and I don’t like that LMAO *I don’t “need” to do anything I’m just insane

anyway, the acid tunnel scene where you take a photo with Ralsei, right? where you can make Kris do different poses? The pose I picked last time was “make a rude pose (middle finger)” iirc, cuz I thought it’d be funny, and it was funny, did laugh. but when I did the Spamton thing later and got to the “are you okay, yes/no” scene, I realized that *not* hugging Ralsei during the photo actually makes one of the scenes shorter! and like yeah that’s cool, neat how your choices can alter some minor events, but also. I haven’t stopped thinking about it because I don’t CARE if it doesn’t actually affect anything, I want the Ralsei hug version of the scene to have HAPPENED on my save file and I picked the WRONG POSE GRRR. so basically I have to replay the entire chapter, you understand right
