Vacation day 4, 3 shows, some delicious Indian food and no getting lost or dead phones, so a success all around. Here are some things that caught my eye about the city.
Vacation day 3. 2 shows, alas the third had sold out. Also touristed to a cute little area of town (see picture)and a graveyard. Walked over 16000 steps and feet don’t hurt somehow. Lovely weather today, probably the best we’ll have.

It took 23 days but foster dog Canelo is finally sleeping on my lap. Of course I go on vacation this week and he goes got week’s coverage with another foster

These are currently the things I think I’d get. Solar panels and an all electric car, this is the bmw.
New Foster Canelo 2 years old. He just had a jaw fracture repaired and may need another surgery for a pelvic fracture but that may heal on its own. He is on mostly pen rest as a result. Just day 1 so still figuring out each other.
Holiday on a Friday? That means bonus day at the pool for me. Today I swam 1 length before switching to walking and exercising in the 4 ft section.
Brought neighbor out to see the ships. Not really my thing, but always happy to get out and see the city.
Neighborhood trash haul. 1 bag trash, I bag recycling, 3 large pieces of car detritus. Or suspected car detritus. 4 residential blocks, 4 busy crosstown/bus route blocks, and 2 side street blocks between the two. Cleared out 2.5 mud/stick filled storm drains.
It wouldn’t let me post this video before. Here is Miss Mary snoring while sleeping on me. If you all know any Frenchie lovers, especially if they are on a single level dwelling. This tri-pod should be available for adoption in a few weeks.
Miss Mary my Frenchie Foster had a dr check today. Her ears are still infected, so they got another treatment. Her incisions look good and staples should come out in a week. Here’s a close up of her.
New foster has mostly slept. Decompression is real. There was lap sleeping.
New foster, who this? Meet Mary Jane. This adorable girl had an injured front leg that had to be amputated. She also got fixed. She’ll be staying with us as she recovers and is available for adoption. At only 26 lbs, quite the change from Zeus. Stay tuned for adventures.
I used to shop online a lot. If anyone local could use plastic/mylar mailers or bubble mailers I have a bag of each.
