yes, I can answer this! it’s a bug because Invisible leaves units open to Magic attacks, it overrides bosses’ inherent death immunity. fixed in the GBA version onwards, but it was sloppily fixed in one particular instance in the PlayStation 1 version
ongoing thread of things I’ve learned about FF6–a game I own in at least two different forms + have beaten multiple times—while replaying: - Sabin’s Blitzes have alternate inputs that don’t require diagonals - this monster is supposed to be a big bird, and not a cyclops with a jack-o-lantern mouth

volunteered at HarborFest for the LGBT resource center’s beer tent for four hours. time flew by, had some alligator, had a po boy, hung out with some nice people, great time ⛴️🚢🛳️
Japanese Learning Progress (5/18/26): - past page 70 in Genki, doing really good on the exercises and reviewing with the workbook - can get up to 50 kanji if I really push and at least most of the basic onyomi and kunyomi - at page 40 of Kanji De Manga vol. 1; trying to get a 2 kanji/day thing going
30 minute litter walk near a strip mall near my place. got one bag near to bursting
went for a quick 30-minute walk near my neighborhood because someone dumped a bunch of trash on the side of the road cleaned that up and kept going until the bag was stretching. it rained the night before so all the trash was super heavy and soggy but still got the bag pretty full
filled a 30-gallon bag at a guard rail/quasi-nature trail this morning! Found some styrofoam slabs and bagged them before they could disintegrate

played it recently, and I think Palutena from Kid Icarus should bring back her 80s Bonnie Tyler perm for a game
got done really fast at the DMV, and I had new big trash bags and my litter tongs in my car, so I just started picking up litter in the dried retention pond. filled a whole 30-gallon bag in about 30 minutes without even trying!
saw this pic from a Sailor Moon S VHS game that was played on a toy phone (the Terebikko), and yeah, when fireballs fail, pack heat.
good day - took my son to school, lifted weights, went on a litter walk and filled two bags, then volunteered and started data entry in the Life Center’s clinic because they said I did such a good job in the donor department 🥳
Japanese progress (4/14/26) - - got some great Japanese books from EPCOT called Kana/Kanji de Manga that have little comics so I can learn sentences/grammar while I learn Kanji - making progress in Genki but these books are *dense*. learning a lot though! ー tried translating a pack of gum (1/2)
