Picked up some light reading recently. Beyond badass, including the heartfelt forward by John Fucking Carpenter. And with the announcement of TWO Toho sequels, to both Minus One AND Shin, yeah, some good news we all needed.
RIP Lalo Schifrin. So many great works but this will always be my favorite of his (for obvious reasons to those who know me.)
What actor’s expression in a movie will stay with you for the rest of your life?
Was down for the count a lot this week with allergies, a weird cold, I don’t know what. (But not covid.) feeling better today so here is a random Disneyland rockwork appreciation post. #Disneyland #BigThunder #RockworkRules
Jasmine is in full bloom around my neighborhood and the perfume in the air is magical.
The coolest home in my neighborhood decorates their yard for Halloween with tons of decor. This past H, they put up this towering ghoul with animated eyes. All of it goes away in November, usually. Not this time. They’ve kept the ghoul and just redress it for other holidays, like “prom.” I ❤️ this.
A big nerd friend gave this big nerd an awesome big nerd birthday gift. If you know what company this logo represents… well…
