The 1”x1” support had to be replaced. Also, I used 2 metal 90° joints to shoe up the decorative board @ the point it cracked. I used 14 5/8”x3” screws to attach the support board. As well as 14 3/8”x1 1/2” screws. After a lot of work, it’s functioning, as shown in the picture. 🧵 4/5
So 3 years ago, we got a daybed from Wayfair. 3 sides of the bed have a lot of support, but u can see there is a decorative support bar in front to support the left side. It’s a ~ 1/2” piece of wood surrounded by decorative fabric. Attached is a1”x1” piece of wood to support the slats. 🧵 1/5

I went to collect my recycle ♻️ bins, & I found this guy staring at me. Almost gave me a heart ❤️🩹attack. I calmly picked up the bins, hoping I wasn’t making any threatening motions. Ik they can attack if they feel threatened.
