Imagine supporting a bill that allows the leader of your country, and his family, to stop paying taxes/lie on their tax statements indefinitely. Ugh.
I bought a bike. Between visiting the Netherlands and @ryankturnbull.bsky.social 's relentless advocacy, I finally gave in.
There is a nearly mythological quality to this moment. (1) World fetishizes fossil fuels for about a century. (2) Massive industrial growth. (3) Three nations explicitly damage and destroy massive production capacities for fossil fuels. (4) Kronos castrates Ouranos once again.
