Fridaaay. A bright spot in the week: I randomly found that I had a Miguel Vargas rc the other day. He's been amazing to watch on the sox this season. Also I spilled a bit of coffee on me 10 min ago so it was time to stop watching a Zelda playthrough & get moving.
Hey, here's today's comic strip, a full pager.
Dial M for Murderousness on Tubi. A movie about a man tired of being married to Grace Kelly.
Was out and about at a place that was likely way more right wing friendly than I'd ever attend so I'm not surprised by this tricked out manly man car and the way it's parked.
More collage strips from baseball card artwork.
Some more collage strips from art from Topps cards, including cards from the 1970s.
Here's some more of the collage baseball strips, made out of spot illos from the backs of 2006 Topps.
2006 Topps baseball had spot illos on the backs so I started scanning and putting them together as comic strips. I started trading cards for old commons from the 70s that matched the artwork for more options, but didn't make a lot of these. Should I try again?
Sometimes at my previous job I'd make a Styrofoam or cardboard version of me and take a pic of it at my messy desk or at the copy machine or even with a coworker talking to it, post it on Teams "I AM SO BUSY WORKIKG THIS FRIDAY AFTERNOON. CALLS MAY GO TO VOICEMAIL."
5:15pm: can't wait to get out of this sweltering packed train and on my bike to cool off at the beach 6pm: omg the water is so cold, I'd rather be on a warm train
Is it the middle of the week? That...TRACKS.
Beautiful day out there. I drove to work and ny punishment was driving back in the worst traffic, like no one wanted me to go to the beach, but I made it. Water felt great.
Stopped at Target on my way to work, bought a random pack of topps2. Pulled a Juan Soto auto, # to 75. Yeesh.
Posts for the dot com this week scheduled. Do you like Mal & Dee? More Mal & Dee comics. More of these guys, tomorrow!
