I often recall this garbage by Chris Cillizza. A media culture that treats violence against its own peers as a game event absolutely opened the floodgates to this collapse. When they want someone to face a question, they never stop asking it. But often enough, they just chase the next ratings high.
As a Californian, I humbly suggest that you guys take a restorative swim in the East River. Is our tabulating process getting in the way of your breathless horse race coverage? 🎻 Is it fostering conspiracy theories? Why don't you try debunking those instead? Or is that beneath you?
