Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris- in the new Maiden book called “Infinite Dreams” (comes out Oct 7th) says he was influenced by Genesis, Yes and Wishbone Ash. For a band that helped define an entire metal genre, I didn’t expect that mix of bands to shape their sound.

Thanks to this new book, I’ve been listening to The Cars all weekend! That first album is one of the best debuts ever🤘

New Patti Smith book heading our way in October

How did Springsteen take such a huge leap in his sound from his second album to Born To Run? This new book is a great tale about what the Boss was up against and how he came through with a career changing 8 songs.

Current read Just started the book. Not a big Elvis fan. So far totally fascinated by Tom Parker’s story. 500 pages to go.

This book is equal parts parody and love letter to the excess’s of 1980s music culture. I've never reviewed a book like this (rock n roll fiction) on the podcast, but now that I have, I am glad I did! Has anyone read this?

I’m really glad this doc is out there. Every marginal at best Joel fan I turned on to this came away impressed and surprised with his talent and story.
