It just keeps getting worse. The right wing in this country are a death cult. Always have been. And now they’re coming for me and my friends. I am scared. I am frustrated. But I am not alone. Thank you for being my friend. We are stronger together. 💔

Hermaphroditis is the Greek God of the intersex. Born with both male and female parts, she was the son of Hermes and Aphrodite and was “cursed” to be both male and female after being forcibly merged with a nymph. 🏳️⚧️
She’s also an ally. Of course she is. Anyone with a good heart can see that we’re not a threat. That we are the victims. Victims of a society who needs a bogeyman. And sadly, that bogeyman is us. It truly breaks my heart. You don’t always hear about the good ones. She’s a good one.
Look at this Nike ad. The type is all over the place. But it stands out. They sell shoes and it’s the least prominent part of the ad. He sold a feeling.
Graphic design is an art form. We work for clients, but that doesn’t make us less of an artist. Look at the work of David Carson for examples of radical forward-thinking design that broke barriers. It wasn’t always legible. But it made a damn impact.
I complain about boredom, but really it’s just a manifestation of loneliness. I’m not in a position to make real life friends at the moment. But I’m trying to read, write, play games. We are social creatures, me, especially.
I gain and lose followers all the time, and I’ve gained more than I’ve lost. Sometimes it feels like an indictment on me. I have to learn to not take things personally. I’m just freight train, but trains are pretty fucking cool.
