Here's a shot of Hank McCoy attaching black electrical tape to a mannequin. Dude, WHY are we going in for a cup? This movie is so fuckin' weird.
There's literally no tension in this entire movie, based on this shot. Stormbreaker flew through a fully-powered-up Infinity Gauntlet to nail Thanos. Doom stops it with 2 fingers. "Whooooa Doom is badass!" okay but that means this crew has 0% chance at stopping him. He wins. Movie over.
Rather than yet another Toy Story sequel, I bet Disney could really clean up by re-rendering all new animation for the first Toy Story while keeping the exact audio track. Frame for frame but doesn’t look like the first animated film ever made.
lol omg look how many boxes they picked up. these people can't do anything competently.
You should be able to, with a single checkbox, disable every single "community" feature in Plex instantaneously.
Can't help but notice what kind of tattoos, out of the hundreds to choose from, are conspicuously absent from these guys.
Bernthal is executive producer on this special, his condition to Disney for returning was that he'd have more creative control - he's even listed as a writer on OLK. Once you realize this special was specifically made for the Punisher fans who would vote for Trump a fourth time, it all clicks.
I've looked the other way on Bernthal's portrayal of Castle as a grunting savage moron. Certainly not my preferred version of the tactical cool-headed Punisher, but fine. But if you think Punisher should be a cop hero, you fundamentally misunderstand the character. screenrant.com/jon-bernthal...
Punisher: OLK is not a special about The Punisher, the comic character. It's about the fan version of the character, specifically the fans who have thin blue line decals next to his logo on their F-150s. The entire plot is a home invasion by poor people complicated by Frank giving up his guns.
Spoiler alert: everything Elon personally dislikes he will designate as harming humanity and rugpull all the money
Last week of the D&D campaign I'm volunteering to run at school. They just hit lvl 3 and are about to face their BBEG. Been doing theater of the mind all semester, but I'm busting out the battle map and miniatures for this one. Best part is, the 3D printer arrived. Making custom figs for each kid.
Oh my god I just witnessed the evolved version of the "file a ticket" blow-off. Someone asked another person a question, and was asked to redirect the question to their Claude-powered simulation of themselves instead.
This is so peak to me. I always hated the bubble silver ugly-ass shit that the 2000's brought us to replace this gorgeous stack.
ASCII diagrams that look like this are the Claude version of the em-dash.
I just don't understand why people participate in markets like this. You're literally betting on an outcome that is fully determined by insiders ALSO PARTICIPATING IN THAT MARKET. You're basically betting on happening into the longshot position they manip into.
Genuine concentration camps on American soil, the whole shebang. Everything you think that means, it means. www.commondreams.org/news/militar...
Really loving that browsers can't seem to agree on how rounded the corners should be on their windows when they're overriding the default window painting. This is Safari on top of Chrome on top of Brave, all maximized to the exact same space.
I asked Claude to implement something and it spat out the most convoluted (but working) 200-liner. I asked "wouldn't something like this be simpler?" and gave it about 15 LoC. It goes "oh yes, that would be" then proceeds to commit MY OWN CODE with this at the bottom, the fucking audacity.
I wonder what Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein would look like if the title character actually looked more like an ugly creature cobbled together from a bunch of dead corpses and less like a frat guy wearing a halloween costume who is still hoping to get laid.
