Almost a year to the day, I rescued another fallen swiftlet in our garden this afternoon. Now in the care of the wonderful SPARE Swift Protection Association Reigate. Hoping for a successful fledging in a few weeks’ time just like last year.

We had not seen blue tits in our nestbox since 18 March and feared they had abandoned it as they had done last year. So we were overjoyed to see Ms Bluetit back at it again today. We always have to remind ourselves they know what they are doing. #bluetit #nestbox @rspb.bsky.social
