Current lawyer, former scientist. Mostly college football (Ski-U-Mah! EMAW!!) and kdrama. Sometimes I write fiction. Not a serious person.
Exactly how dumb is Texas Tech looking right now? Here’s a clue. Even Kansas AG Kris Kobach is against them.
Day 3: Eunuch characters are a staple in sageuk #kdrama. They serve a variety of purposes, often as well-rounded characters who are also sympathetic rather than just being power brokers. A great example is the warm and funny Heo Sam-bo (Sung Ji-ru) in #RookieHistorianGooHaeRyung.
Day 2: Ok, I may be posting this just because it’s from #MyLovelySamSoon, aka one of the best #kdrama of all-time. Here’s a very young Kim Nam-gil playing a very young Hyun Bin’s supportive doctor friend in the drama.
Yes! #UndertheQueensUmbrella is my choice too. Kim Hye-soo was terrific as the titular queen, and I also thought the character was so well written.
Pretty sure I’m breaking some rules by not focusing this solely on CFB feelings/hate, but there are no rules, right?
Day 5: Though villain is not his usual wheelhouse, Lee Dong-wook played Seo Moon-jo, one of the most charismatic and chilling negative characters of all-time in the #kdrama horror/mystery #StrangersFromHell.
Day 4: I still think #BeMelodramatic features the best depiction of adult friendship in #kdrama. That said, I also want to tip my hat to a couple of newer dramas that were also great at depicting adult friendship: #DivorceAttorneyShin from 2023 and this year’s #UndercoverMissHong. #ChinguChallenge
I mean, you know it’s an elite drama when a 10-minute discourse on Proust can be condensed into “sexy cookie.”

And yet these same people view women wearing hijab as oppressed and rail against sharia law. At least be consistent with your nonsense, people. Is that too much to ask?
Yes, if ”only Country in the World” refers to the entirety of North and South America and several countries in Europe, Africa, and Oceania.
When you grow up in Ottawa, the field trips are always to Parliament Hill. In addition to visiting the House of Commons and the Senate, you get a fun story about Queen Juliana sending tulip bulbs to Ottawa. Forever.
The standard one from KitchenAid is great. We’ve had this (or variations) for almost 30 years now.
