Human on land called Canada. Loves ideas like co-operation, truth, courage, and kindness. Big fan of Carl Sagan, Mr. Spock, wilderness, and wildlife. Associated with 1NME.ca
It should be so obvious by now, but thanks all the same, CBC. www.cbc.ca/news/science...
I have *had* it with these motherf✓€ing *Canadians* on this motherf✓€ing *plane*!
"When you publicly reverse your position on these matters and show a willingness to try to understand the realities of our province... I will meet with you." - Carla Beck to Avi Lewis, March 28, 2026, the day before Lewis won the national NDP leadership on the first ballot. Beck should reverse.
Another weird newsletter from my MP, Brad Redekopp. Looks like he's aiming for full Churchill, but kind of undermines it by suggesting the enemy is other Canadians. Shouldn't expect much, I guess, from a guy who compared Justin Trudeau to Putin. 🙄
I think about this CONSTANTLY. And still, even with everything going on, I hope for better.
I wonder if Pam Bondi is still bringing up the Dow when called to testify about the Epstein Files.
The GOP/MAGA crowd aren't crowing publicly about the Dow any more. Remember: the elite traders and their derivatives make money in all of the manufactured chaos. Only the masses get screwed. Over and over again.
Thanks for another great ride, @stephenking.bsky.social! You might be the closest thing we ever get to an Answer Man. 🙂
This holiday season, I offer this festive image: lighthearted and joyful resistance. Have fun with this life! ❤️
Height of cynicism that a separatist group advocating fragmentation would use the Wheat Pool's iconography, when it stood for the opposite. Not to mention how dumb the idea of "SK sovereignty" idea is; like a five year old who "moves out" because they don't get a cookie. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
My grandpa was in a light anti-aircraft battalion in Normandy after the landing in 1944. I went to Juno Beach in June and shed some tears imagining what pain he'd feel to see people (especially some Canadians) embracing Nazi ideology again 80 years later. Chin and elbows up, Canada. Lest we forget.
History will look favourably upon these people and the people like them who follow.
Weird headline choice for a program that (so far) has gotten 2.8 million people access to a dentist. www.cbc.ca/news/politic...
I love @grickle.bsky.social "doodles" so much. Almost every drawing has a character expressing some universal emotion. Rough day? Judging Frog is YOU.
Hi Brent, I'm in Paris, seeing that City Hall is open to the public tomorrow, the exhibition is free, but requires a reservation that appears to booked up into next week? Am I reading this correctly? (Even if I can't get in, the posters are worth stopping for...)
Saskatchewan is the global poster boy for cognitive dissonance. The SK Party, the NDP, farmers, and the CBC are doing a bad job connecting energy choices to climate change, the obvious part of this kindergarten-level puzzle. So, so embarrassing.
