Time to move on my display army for events. It’s 1750pts Chaos and painted to a decent tabletop standard. Some units got a good amount of extra love, some have few skipped details as you never notice. Asking price is £280 which is £20 per unit
This makes me sad. Not the price etc. (I’ve now accepted that retail GW is just not for me) but the contents. This is not Necromunda. A mat with no height, no terrain, no soul. I admit I like terrain more than normal, it made Necromunda for me. With GW dabble into MDF this was a missed opportunity.
For me, and I know the scale may not be your thing, Warmaster Revolution is by far my favourite fantasy game to play. It’s got the grand scale, characterful armies and the game updates are few and far between, no big rules overall over and over.
Ok things are starting to shape up but gotta admit. This is getting a bit dull now. Gonna add in some Cav next but I must say, Naps is a LOT of the same thing en mass. I know it’ll look good together but it’s already a drag
Today’s fun job, fitting 3 Warmaster armies in one box! Thanks to trays from Scenery Sunday I was able to seriously maximise the box space and that’s with VC and Orcs being hordes!

With over 600 infantry to do, these test grenadiers are the happy balance of speed and look
So middle age has hit like a truck and I’m sliding down the slippery slope into historical gaining with reckless abandon
Local legend at the club recommended Posca PC1MR for fine detail designs. Omg I could never have done this with a brush. Now my Scutarii stand out as they ended up very similar to the Celts before the shields got jazzed up

Painting and playing Epic Hail Ceasar has been an absolute blast so far. Kind of wish Warlord would address their Leader’s recent statements though as can’t really endorse them. But 15mm being a little bigger than I’m used to and minimal extra details is a huge help with the painting.
If I did everything I saw on his channel that enthuses me, I would be burried under projects! You nailed this man. We started 15mm 5 leagues because of Peachy and has been great! Kiddo loves it
Highly recommend a textured glue on cap to all Contrast/Speedpaint fans. This is a game changer!

If you’re planning Christmas printing, my army bundles are on sale! These may be taken down as STLs in the future as I wind business down by end of financial year and wish to no longer do accounting and tax submissions (it’s a lot of hassle, new UK digital tax requirements are not worth it for me).
Next up the vehicles. These will finish the army off but in true @manticgames.bsky.social style, the box is packed with value so I have 12 wheels, 6 buggies and 6 tunnellers to do!
