Indeed it is not. It's climate change apathy, which in some sense is even worse.
No, Allister, no country can STOP climate change, but we can REDUCE it, more than many other countries, and we must do our bit. We will have no choice on the current climate, but let's stop before Mediterranean becomes Saharan. Net zero is the answer here, other countries are doing similar.
If there was ever a better example of stupid, bigoted right wing entitlement, I'd be keen to see it. The elevation of this twerp to the House of Lords by Kemi Badenoch serves both to illustrate her poor judgement & unsuitability as leader, and also the need to dissolve the upper chamber.
This says something about the male mind perhaps. I suspect there are many men who, despite knowing little or nothing on a subject, attempt a dominant position, mansplaining style, by presenting guesses, or even lies, as facts. "It seems to work for Trump" some may say! Too much testosterone maybe?

If #Burnham doesn't take a firmer line than his predecessor on the Israel/Palestine horror, he will crash and burn in exactly the same way. His popularity will plummet. There's a big swathe of the centre and left in the UK who are sick of seeing UK arms going to Israel.

The problem is of course, as a limited company rather than a political party, Reform can get around rules on declaring donations. It'd be great if Starmer passed a law that only properly registered political parties can form the government.

Tighter press regulation is needed. We need laws to ensure politically motivated opinion pieces (often outright lies) are banned from page 1 headlines, which must be factual news only. Sure they'll squawk but It's not censorship, it'd still be permitted inside.
Indeed, the government does. It stands so firmly with them that we're helping with the Israeli nation's illegal war to enact regime change in Iran. Don't be fooled by all this "not being dragged into it" nonsense. US bombers have been flying from UK soil for weeks.
It's the Labour government's "patriotic duty" (it really is) to firmly refute this total cobblers, it is popping up on almost every right wing platform. But Labour, despite their huge majority, are flat footed and cowardly, they seem unable to.

This government holds the parliamentary petitions process in contempt. The attached response illustrates this perfectly. This petition was signed by well over 100,000 adults, this was supposed to be properly considered. It just wasn't. Not for a second.
