Clearing out some old notebooks from my studio, I found this- notes from writing “The Devil That You Know” from my last album. Me writing songs is an assault on paper and penmanship, I think. 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️🤘🏻

I bought this gorgeous guitar used from a music shop I taught guitar in when I was 21. It’s been (sinfully) sitting in a closet collecting dust for the last 20 years but it, and all of its 12 strings, is about to make its recording debut. Fun recording updates coming soon. 🤘🏻

I’m having a love affair with my new Scarlett Focusrite 4th gen interface. 👀 It’s sexy (that red!), its preamps are quiet AF (see ya, noise cancellation plug-ins!), preamps LOUD AF too (bye, Cloudlifter!), and it includes software that saves gain settings?! ::SWOON:: 😍🤘🏻⭐️🎶 YES. 🔥

Shout out to my fav new effects plugin, the Unison Zen Master. It allows you to mess around with a lot of really cool lo-fi sounds, which I had been planning to play with on my new album. Easy to use and can really transform a drum loop, synth or vocal track like nothing else. LOVE. 💕⭐️🎶🤘🏻
