Bill has always shown up for people, & people showed up for us. Friends, coworkers, my choir & church family...we have been carried by their love. People are good! We can breathe a bit now. 2026 will bring more tests, medical appts, etc., but now? We are celebrating. Wishing you light & love! 5/5
We were introduced to Washington State University’s Cougar Gold cheese a few years ago. Absolutely amazing stuff. They’ll ship it to you. I love that they include the name of the student who produced it on the packaging. Ruth, we love you. ❤️ Land-grant universities rock. @wsucahnrs.bsky.social
Our choir hosted a Messiah event. First time. Resounding success. So much love and community. Music is ❤️
@darthbluesky.bsky.social This is Max(imum Snuggles), my grand pup. My favorite lion.
Everything is ugh but this photo of my grand dog is making me feel better.
So many things are just terrible right now, but this morning my 13-year-old pup did five zoomies around the house, under and over furniture, racing through doorways, low to the ground, full speed ahead. Absolute joy. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Jasper and me. We are both beginning another trip around the sun today.
Ventura, CA #NoKings. HUGE crowd. Lots and lots of anti-ICE signs in the wake of this week’s activities.
Ventura County #HandsOff - large crowd and they kept coming. A few photos (all taken with permission).
One thing I'm focusing on during this period of chaos is creating. I'm editing a novel, rehearsing choral music & started a ceramics class a month ago. Creating is one form of my resistance. Here's one of my first pieces, just out of the kiln. The other pieces need to be glazed and fired. 1/2

I think it’s critical to be grateful for all that is good and sacred, maybe especially during challenging times. A morning spent at the Ventura Harbor with my daughter and grand pup was just what the doctor ordered.
If you live in Ventura or the #805 and are curious about the #episcopal church, please join us this Sunday for inspired preaching, beautiful music, fair trade coffee, and warm fellowship. We’d love to see you! All are welcome here.
