Two adjacent allotment plots are currently empty next to my mom's, which I guess is the reason this raptor is visiting more often. I think it might be a buzzard, but not sure. Hope it sticks around and deals with rodents regularly 😃

I was raised on these streets

And another of these gigs I almost didn't attend, and it lifted my spirits into the stratosphere. Luft (a duo of Mats Gustafsson on sax and other brass and Erwan Keravec on bagpipes) with Otomo Yoshihide on turntables and guitar lifted the roof off an old tannery in St. Johann in Tyrol.

Belgian comic writer Franquin once made a one-pager about weapons turning to shit, which always brings a smile to my face. (No idea if this page will be visible in a decent fashion here, giving it a try.)

Oooh, that must have been very close to the time they did the Peel session in autumn 1999, which is when I heard them first. Got to see them live for the first time two years later in Glasgow.

Türkei will Anonymität im Netz beenden:

„Es geht um den Schutz des Staates vor Kritik“

Der Justizminister will Klarnamen und Ausweispflicht für Nutzer sozialer Medien einführen, um gegen Hass im Netz vorzugehen. Kritiker sehen jedoch in dem Gesetz einen Schritt zur Totalüberwachung.
