He's home! I was a bit muddled this morning so to be clear: his biopsy was not for his heart. We didn't know about the arrhythmia before today and it made the biopsy risky. But he's a trooper and pulled through just fine! Thank you for your good wishes!

My sweet boy Howl is at the vet for a biopsy. They discovered an arrhythmia but we're going ahead with the biopsy to avoid long delays. Still very risky. Please cross your fingers and light your candles for him. I love him so much. #cats #CatSky

Oof, this. Anytime I see long posts about what will happen in some movie or show or book, I can't help but think that a lot of people don't take in stories the way I do. I don't want to be a detective, I want to be the audience. I trust the story to show me what it wants me to know.

I like thinking about what will happen, sure, and I like analyzing how each piece of the story contributes to the greater whole when all is said and done, but if you ask me "Who's gonna be the new King of Westeros?" or "Who's the killer in this season of True Detective?" or even "Will Captain America say 'Avengers Assemble'?" I am simply, deeply, almost obsessively uninterested. I just want to let the story tell me what it's gonna be."

The thing is, we are living in the America that launched Artemis II. This one right here. Remember that the Space Race happened because of the Cold War. There will never be a society of only fear and hate OR of only love and joy. If you want love and joy, find and encourage it. Moon joy!
