A bollard gave its life over by Tūranga. I wish it were more solid given all the pedestrians that are always there. Should basically wreck any vehicle it comes in contact with.

A day in the port hills on the struggle bus and potato leek soup coming to a boil before it simmers for a while for dinner.

A ditch oven filled with a base of butter, onion, garlic, and then cubed potatoes and the whites and light green of a leek and cream and water to top it off.

On the Lyttleton side of things no inversion but on the Christchurch side of the coast there was an inversion

Did a hill workout and made some sandwich bread and the sun surprisingly came out today. Not a bad Fall day at all.

Two sandwich bread loaves right out of the oven. You can still hear the bread crust crackle as it cools

Fall has been so gorgeous in Christchurch. Can't remember the last time I've had a better one. Best time of the year. Made homemade cinnamon rolls for the hell of it.
